Our home sits on a 14 acre lot and is close to hiking, skiing, a horse farm, lakes and Rutland (10 mins). There is plenty of space for family memory making, your peaceful mountain retreat awaits!

When you walk into the home from the road side of the lot, you will first walk into a large “mud room” where you will have a clean and secure space to hang your hat/coat and store any ski gear, bikes or other recreational toys you decide to bring up. You will then enter the kitchen where you will be greeted with an open floor plan, vaulted ceilings, real pine everything, a fully equipped kitchen, and floor to ceiling windows. The “breakfast nook” serves as a sunny place to dine in the morning and a beautiful family gathering space in the evening. There are two equal sized bedrooms with one queen bed in each room that share a common hallway bath. Our place is heated by gas and always warm and cozy (to your liking of course). When you walk through to the back of the home (away from the road), you are greeted with beautiful vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling windows that overlook farmland, horses and the green mountains you came here for!

We live next door (part time), but will not be over to bother you unless you need something. I am a quick phone call away if you need anything to help improve your stay.
North Clarendon is a small town located 20 minutes from Okemo and Jackson Gore, 25 minutes from Pico, and 35 minutes from Killington Ski Resorts. There are plenty of hiking and biking trails nearby and the town of Rutland is only a 10 minute drive. If you are flying in, the closest airports are Town of Rutland, VT. (10 minutes), Burlington, VT (1.5 hours) Albany, NY (just under 2 hours) and Boston (3 hours).
You will most likely have to have a car in order to stay in our home. If you choose to enjoy a night on the town we are a $10 uber ride from town, but having a car will make your stay much more enjoyable.
Essentials Provided: Linens, towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap, lotion, TP, paper towels, coffee, tea, salt, pepper, cooking oil, dish soap, new sponge every turnover, laundry detergent, and much more!
There is a washer and dryer downstairs in the unfinished basement. We have 125 channels including HBO and very fast wi-fi.
